Siena Brachelli Car Accident – Obituary: 19-Year-Old Siena Marie Brachelli Killed in I-95 Crash

Siena Brachelli Car Accident – A fatal crash on Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia claimed the life of 19-year-old Siena Marie Brachelli of Chesterfield, New Jersey, authorities confirmed Saturday afternoon. Pennsylvania State Police say the college student died after losing control of her vehicle during morning travel on the busy interstate.

The collision occurred at approximately 11:36 a.m. on I-95 northbound near Exit 32 at Academy Road when Brachelli’s white Acura MDX veered from the left travel lane onto the left shoulder, struck a metal guardrail and overturned into the median before coming to rest on its roof, police detailed. First responders from the state police, Philadelphia Fire Department and EMS rushed to the scene, where Brachelli was pronounced dead.

Brachelli was a Political Science student at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where she was active in campus life as a member of the Delta Psi chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma. She also worked as a service supervisor and was a 2024 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She is survived by her parents and her brothers.

The Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the fatal rollover collision, and no further details have been released at this time. Family and community members are grappling with the shock of losing a young life full of promise in a tragic highway crash.
